Alex Rios to the Whitesox
Wow! Big news out of Chicago today. Our Whitesox have added stud outfielder, Alex Rios, to their squad. Rios was with Toronto who was just thrilled to get out from under his large contract. Rios has 7 years left and 60MM on his contract that is now on the Whitesox. With the recent signing of Peavy, our team is spending some money. As a fan I love to see the team trying to make something happen. Rios is a young (28 years) talent that solidifies the Whitesox lineup for years to come. Could this be the end for Dye? Rios can play centerfield or rightfield with ease.
What do you other Whitesox fan think of this deal to aquire Rios? They are going to try and make a run at the AL Central THIS year it appears. Hopefully Rios can knock in a few runs!
